In Black Heaven: A Necromantic Dating Sim, you’re a former scholar and one of the last survivors of a plague that’s destroyed the world you used to know.
After nearly succumbing to the disease, your life is saved by a mysterious necromancer named No-Eyes, who offers you the chance to escape death forever and relive your past. All he asks are the souls of your former classmates:
– Ru, your shy but brilliant tutor
– Lyse, the fiery, sharp-witted debutante
– Izagi, the idealistic and stoic martial artist
As you return to the ruined academy where you spent your happiest days, you’re haunted by the pleasant memories of your old friends, and the line between memory and madness becomes dangerously blurred…

Reviews
“One of the best visual novels I’ve played…once I started Black Heaven, it was like beginning a great book that I just couldn’t set down. And when I finished the first playthrough, I had to play again to see other endings for other characters…Choices really do direct the narrative. Humor and sorrow. If you enjoy well-crafted storytelling, this game is definitely worth your time.” – Steam Review
“…this game has great music, good art, and one of THE most unique story lines I’ve ever seen. The writing is immaculate and the concepts are so interesting. I can’t say more without spoilers but DEFINITELY try this game!” – Steam Review
“It seems as though every story written about humans achieving immortality is actually about why trying to do so is a fool’s errand. Black Heaven is no different. There is a hunger, a certain gnawing at the edges of every living being, but some measure of growth and happiness can only be gained when that hunger is shed. It’s left me with a lot to think about, which I find increasingly rare in visual novels. Able to achieve a perfect blend between its horror, philosophy, romance, and even sex, I think there’s a little bit of something for everyone in Black Heaven.” – Steam Review
“…this VN feels very detailed with it’s worldbuilding, the characters feel well done, and there’s always a sense of dread of what’s to come in the story, especially every time No-Eyes is around.” – Steam Review
Features
Black Heaven features a mechanic called “Fractal Madness,” which warps the game if you repeatedly attempt to undo your past actions by reloading a previous save file! Simply reloading the game doesn’t increase your Fractal Madness, but returning to decisions you’ve already made will.
In addition:
– Explore three main romance paths and multiple endings
– Play a simple, chess-like mini-game called ‘Seeker’ to increase characters’ dispositions
– Enjoy a soundtrack that changes based on your Fractal Madness level
– Discover a hidden romance path for No-Eyes, the necromantic antagonist
